What was issued
At 855 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Colorado City Airport to 7 miles southeast
of Forsan. Movement was east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Colorado City, Loraine, Colorado City Airport, Inadale, Lake Colorado
City, Champion Creek Reservoir, Lake Colorado City State Park,
Westbrook, Dunn, Buford, and Hermleigh.
This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 201 and 228.

office in Midland.
